The second chapter of the Unicorn Wine Dinner Series unfolded on July 28 at Essential by Christophe, one of New York’s most refined culinary destinations.

With Valentyna Grygoireva at the helm, the evening welcomed an equally distinguished crowd, continuing the seamless fusion of Napa Valley wine mastery and elevated gastronomy.

This night’s setting embraced intimacy — soft lighting, polished service, and the low hum of conversation among wine lovers,

industry insiders, and special guests. The culinary team at Essential by Christophe crafted a menu where every dish was a canvas for pairing with Napa Valley’s finest: Sire Estate, Lithology Wines, 4 Winds Winery, FE Wines, Dana Estates, Lerner Project, Zakin Wines — joined once more by Champagne Billecart-Salmon and the sumptuous Number One Caviar.

The caviar service stood as a centrepiece of indulgence, its delicate texture and depth of flavour perfectly matched to rare vintages. Guests savoured the pairings while engaging directly with winery owners, gaining insight into the stories, terroirs, and philosophies behind each label.

A curated DJ set infused the evening with rhythm without disturbing its refined character, underscoring the elegance and flow of the dinner. Beyond tasting, guests could secure the wines they discovered, bringing a piece of the evening’s magic into their own collections.
